RESIDENTIAL

FAQs

We realize that making the decision to have an irrigation system is not without questions. Here are a few helpful answers to questions you may have to help alleviate any of your concerns.

How long does the installation process take?
In our market most residential jobs take 1 or 2 days.

How much damage will be done to my lawn?
We use a machine that slices the earth and pulls the pipe underground. No Trenching!! Your soil structure and type and thickness of your existing lawn determines the amount of damage. Most times there is very minimal damage. However, when we encounter rocks and tree roots there could be damage. This will be completely restored and seeded with topsoil if necessary. Upon completion we will do all cleanup and removal of debris.

Will the proper backflow be used?
The type of backflow used is determined by the layout of the system and local codes.

Will I have a rain sensor?
All of our systems are installed with a rain sensor and a rain sensor by-pass switch. This prevents your system from running in the rain, while allowing you the control to water on demand. This is a great water conservation device!

Where will my controller be installed?
We recommend installation in your garage for the following reasons;
         1. It is usually the most convenient location for you to access to make seasonal adjustments.
         2. It is easier for us to access for service calls.

Each system is different and each customer has different needs.
Please discuss these concerns and any other questions you may have when our salesperson comes to give you an estimate.
